Color Combinations for a Vintage Wedding

There are many color combinations that would look great for elegant weddings. However, some may not be appropriate for vintage weddings. For example, fuchsia is a uniquely modern color, along with pastel blue and other light and striking colors.

One thing to consider when choosing a color combination is the theme of the wedding. It would also be wise to decide whether or not the affair would be ultra formal, semi-casual, semi-formal. The location and the time should also be considered. A combination of darker, subtle shades work best on formal evening affairs while lighter colors work better on semi-formal day weddings.

One classic theme is black and white. Well, obviously, you won’t need consultation as to what  colors are needed. Other combinations include forest green, bronze and black like the one below, which is good for autumn weddings.Another elegant combination is mint, seafoam green, and salmon pink. This works well if everything else is themed in a pre-WWII era, and for weddings held in gardens. Take a look below.

Still another suggestion is a gold-themed wedding. This is great for old Hollywood themed weddings. Pearl white and ivory are elegant when combined with gold. See the image below to get an idea.

White isn’t the only color that you can use in your wedding. Remember there are so much more in store for you if you would tap into your creativity.

What’s more, there are so many bridal cars that would definitely take your breath away. Vintage cars are now being popularly used as wedding cars to serve the newlyweds. From Rolls Royce to June Bugs, you name it, you can use it! Of course, you’ll be up for that too.
